Hi, I’m Adrienne Gibson, LPC

Owner, Clinical Supervisor, Licensed Therapist

I’ve had the honor of working with families, children, and adults for 20 years, helping them find healing, rediscover their joy, and reconnect with the world around them after life’s challenges.

I got into this work because I genuinely want to help—not to “fix” you, but to guide you on the ongoing journey of discovering who you are, and finding your place in the world.

I bring empathy, warmth, and smiles to sessions, and try to make hard things like working through trauma a little less difficult.

My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to show up as yourself—exactly as you are in that moment.

In-person in Mesa; virtually anywhere in Arizona

A Session with me:

A peek into a session with me might look like exploring emotions through sand or art with a toddler, or a heart-to-heart with a teen or adult who needs to feel understood

While equipping them with tools to navigate their challenges and uncover the beauty in life ahead.

I’m here to walk with you through the tough stuff, ensuring you never have to face it alone.

Above all, my goal is for you to leave each session feeling deeply cared for, truly listened to, and supported with a plan to move forward.

Specialties:

My work is grounded in being trauma-informed. What this means with adults is, that I use narrative therapy because we organize and understand our lives by rendering them into story form. I use somatic experiencing therapy, a body-centric approach that works on releasing stress, tension, and trauma in the body. I am also trained in EMDR.

With children, my therapy sessions are filled with sand tray therapy, expressive art therapy, and child-centered play therapy (CCPT).  These modalities often keep children from glossing over painful feelings and memories. In art and sand tray therapy, we are accessing the non-verbal to expose what needs to be processed and regulated.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Counseling

  • AZ Board Approved Supervisor

  • EMDR Trained
